BLIS Admission (2024-2025)
The deadline for submitting application forms for enrollment in the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program for the academic session 2024-25 at the Library and Information Science Institute (self-financed), Moti Mahal Campus, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, is set from May 10, 2024, to May 31, 2024.
Interested candidates can obtain/submit application forms (fee Rs.1000/-) at the institute's office from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the specified date.
The schedule related to enrollment, as outlined below :
1. Publication of First Merit List: June 10, 2024
2. Admission of First Merit List: June 11, 2024, to June 25, 2024
3. Publication of Second Merit List (If seats are vacant): June 26, 2024
4. Admission of Second Merit List: June 27, 2024, to June 31, 2024
5. Publication of Third Merit List (If seats are vacant): July 8, 2024
6. Admission of Third Merit List: July 9, 2024, to July 11, 2024
7. Spot Round (If seats are vacant): July 12, 2024
The application form, required the following documents :
1. Photocopy of Graduation Marksheet
2. Photocopy of Graduation Degree Certificate
3. Photocopy of relevant reservation certificates, if applicable
4. Photocopy of Aadhar Card
5. Recent passport-sized colored photograph
During enrollment, the following points must be adhered to :
1. Enrollment fee of Rs. 26,000/- is payable.
2. Selected students must deposit their original CLC/DLC.
3. Students from other universities must submit their original Migration Certificate.
4. Original Graduation Marksheet and Identity proof (Aadhar Card) are necessary.
5. Students from reserved categories must provide their original Caste Certificate.
6. Students claiming EWS reservation benefits must provide updated (2024-25) EWS Certificate.
7. Enrollment will only be done after verification. If incorrect information is found in the application, the candidacy will be canceled.
8. Failure to enroll within the specified timeframe will result in automatic termination of their claim.
Note : The minimum academic qualification accepted by any university is passing with 45% aggregate marks.
