EDUCATION QUALIFICATION :
- Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
AGE LIMIT :
- Minimum Age : 17.5 Years
- Maximum Age : 21 Years
EXAMINATION FEE :
- Examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus GST is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through payment gateway. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions/steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/keep transaction details for their records.
PET EXAM :
PFT-I:
Candidates must complete a 1.6 km run within the following times to qualify for
PFT-II:
- Male Candidates: within 07 minutes
- Female Candidates: within 08 minutes
PFT-II:
Candidates who qualify PFT-I will undergo PFT-II after 10 minutes of rest. The sequence of exercises and maximum time limits for male and female candidates are as follows:
Male Candidates:
- 10 Push-ups: 1 minute
- Conducted after a 10-minute break following the run
- 10 Sit-ups: 1 minute
- Conducted after a 2-minute break following push-ups
- 20 Squats: 1 minute
- Conducted after a 2-minute break following sit-ups
Female Candidates:
- 10 Sit-ups: 1 minute and 30 seconds
- Conducted after a 10-minute break following the run
- 15 Squats: 1 minute
- Conducted after a 2-minute break following sit-ups
SYLLABUS :
1. Science Subjects:
- English: Topics include grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary.
- Physics: Includes mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics.
- Mathematics: Covers algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and geometry.
2. Other Than Science Subjects:
- English: Similar to the science group.
- Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA): Includes logical reasoning, current affairs, and basic general knowledge.
3. Combined Group (Science and Other Than Science):
- A mix of all the above subjects.
EXAM PATTERN :
1. Science Subjects:
- English: 20 questions
- Physics: 25 questions
- Mathematics: 25 questions
- Duration: 60 minutes
2. Other Than Science Subjects:
- English: 20 questions
- Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA): 30 questions
- Duration: 45 minutes
3. Combined (Science and Other Than Science):
- English: 20 questions
- Physics: 25 questions
- Mathematics: 25 questions
- RAGA: 30 questions
- Duration: 85 minutes
