Current Science Association: Science Writing Fellowship
Position: Science Writing Fellow
Location: Editorial Office of Current Science, Bengaluru
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in any branch of science (B.Sc.).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in any branch of science, literature, journalism, or mass communication.
- Flair for writing and interest in diverse areas of science (physical/biological/medical/earth, planetary, atmospheric sciences, engineering science, as well as economic/social/management science).
- Basic computer skills.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 1 March 2024.
Job Description:
- Write for the News, Research News, and General sections of Current Science on a regular basis.
- Assist the editorial staff in the publication of Current Science.
- Work full-time without taking up any other remunerative position.
Fellowship:
- Consolidated fellowship of Rs 25,000 per month.
- Higher fellowship possible for deserving candidates based on qualifications and experience.
