2. Online Approval of Submitted Applications at School Level: 05-11-2024 to 10-12-2024

3. Download Admit Card:13-01-2025 to 19-01-2025

4. Exam Date: 19-01-2025

5. Date for Uploading Provisional Answer Key of National Income-cum-Merit Scholarship Exam on Portal:2 5-01-2025

6. Last Date for Submission of Objections on Provisional Answer Key by Candidates:

31-01-2025

Eligibility Criteria for NMMS 2024-2025

Class Requirement: Applicants must be currently studying in Class 8 in a recognized school.


Academic Performance: A minimum score of 55% in Class 7 is required, although this is relaxed to 50% for SC/ST students.


Parental Income Cap: The annual income of the student's parents should not exceed INR 3.5 lakh.


Other Scholarships: Applicants must not be recipients of any other state or central government scholarships.

Steps to Apply for the NMMS Exam

Application Form: Obtain the application form from your school or download it from the official website of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Bihar.


Completing the Form: Provide accurate and complete information in each section of the form, which will typically include personal details, school information, parental income, and previous academic records.


Required Documentation:

Recent passport-size photograph.

Attested copy of the Class 7 mark sheet.

Income certificate issued by a competent authority.

Caste certificate, if applicable.

Disability certificate, if applicable.

Form Submission: Submit the completed application form to the designated office at your school. The school administration will forward it to SCERT Bihar for processing.

Examination Details

Mental Ability Test (MAT): This section focuses on evaluating students’ reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): This part covers core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, aligned with the school curriculum.

To qualify, students typically need to score a minimum of 40% in each section (32% for SC/ST and other reserved categories).


Scholarship Details and Disbursement

Scholarship Award: Selected students receive a scholarship amount of INR 12,000 per annum, disbursed at INR 1,000 per Month
