Age Limit (As of 01.06.2024) :
- Minimum age: 18 years for all categories.

- Physically handicapped candidates: Additional relaxation of 10 years in their respective category (minimum 40% physical disability).

Minimum Qualifications :
Candidates must have passed high school and must be regular ITI candidates from institutions recognized by NCVT in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024. General/EWS/Other Backward Class (NCL) candidates must have passed with at least 65% marks, while SC/ST candidates must have passed with at least 60% marks.
For the trades of Welder, Electrician, and Electronics (Mechanical), candidates who are regular ITI candidates from institutions recognized by SCVT in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024 can also apply. General/EWS/Other Backward Class (NCL) candidates must have passed with at least 65% marks, while SC/ST candidates must have passed with at least 60% marks.
Important Instructions:
It is mandatory to fill the details of prescribed documents during registration on Apprenticeship Portal and upload it as per requirement. Also, the Aadhaar number entered while registering should be correct. In this Aadhaar card, the details like name, father's name and date of birth etc. should be completely correct (there should be no spelling mistake in the name) and instead of Aadhaar Verification by the portal, it must be written that "Your Aadhaar is verified Successfully" , In case of any kind of error, the candidate should get the error related to Aadhar card or profile corrected as soon as possible. In case of any error in the apprenticeship profile, which will affect online joining, the candidate's application will be considered ineligible. Stipend
All selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend according to apprenticeship guidelines during the training period.
Health
- Applicants should be in good health.
- Selected candidates must submit a medical certificate certified by a competent medical officer before training.
- Appointment for training depends on meeting the health standards prescribed by the Apprentice Act 1961 and its amendments.
Reservation
1. Candidates belonging to caste/tribe categories will be selected as per the percentage prescribed for Uttarakhand under the Apprentice Act.
2. OBC certificates older than 01.04.2023 or expired are invalid. OBC certificates must be in the format prescribed by the Government of India, available on our website.
3. EWS certificates issued for the financial year 2024-25 are valid.
4. Reservation for dependents of B.H.E.L. Haridwar employees (working/retired/deceased) will follow company rules.
5. Preference will be given to candidates from Uttarakhand. A domicile certificate of Uttarakhand is mandatory.
The following documents are mandatory for candidates to apply online. Part 2 documents must be uploaded; otherwise, the application will be considered incomplete:
1. Latest passport-size color photograph (up to 30 kb in .jpg or .jpeg format).
Documents (b) to (g) should be in .pdf format, up to 500 kb
2. High School Certificate.
3. ITI Consolidated Marksheet (or marksheets of all semesters if not consolidated).
4. Aadhar Card.
5. Caste/EWS Certificate (if applicable).
6. Disability Certificate (if applicable).
7. Domicile Certificate of Uttarakhand for residents of Uttarakhand (B.H.E.L. Not mandatory for dependents of Haridwar employees - serving/retired/deceased).
After applying online, all candidates must send self-attested photocopies of the following documents by post or in person by June 24, 2024. Attach these documents to the acknowledgment letter and send them to:

1. Evidence of Apprenticeship Portal registration number (a copy of the profile generated by the Apprenticeship Portal containing details of the candidate's name, registration number, date of birth, etc.)
2. High school certificate.
3. ITI consolidated marksheet (or marksheets of all semesters if not consolidated).
4. Domicile certificate for residents of Uttarakhand (not mandatory for dependents of BHEL Haridwar employees, whether working, retired, or deceased).
5. Caste certificate/EWS certificate (if applicable).
6. Disability certificate (if applicable).
7. Aadhaar card.
8. Completely filled “Form for Employee Ward” (BHEL only). This is applicable to dependents of Haridwar employees (serving, retired, or deceased).
