Education qualification :
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.

1st Phase : Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Category of candidates: Male candidates (except those listed in points 2 and 3)

• Category of candidates: Male candidates (Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates from Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Leh & Ladakh, Kashmir Valley)
   - Height: 162.5 cm
   - Chest: 77 cm (unexpanded), 82 cm (expanded)

• Category of candidates: All male candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes
   - Height: 162.5 cm
   - Chest: 76 cm (unexpanded), 81 cm (expanded)

• Category of candidates: Female candidates (except those listed in points 5 and 6)
   - Height: 155 cm

Weight :
- Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per medical standards for both males and females.
- Overweight or underweight candidates will be disqualified during the medical examination.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- For male candidates: 1.6 km race in 6 minutes and 30 seconds.

Chest Measurement
- Chest measurement for female candidates will not be taken.

Relaxation in Height and Chest
- Relaxation in height and chest is allowed only with a certificate from the competent authority of the candidate's district of residence (see Annexure-VI).

Appeal Process
- PST/PET is qualifying in nature and does not carry any marks.

2nd Phase : Computer Base Test (CBT)

3rd Phase : Skill Test, Documents Verification and Medical examination (DME/RME)

Skill Test
For ASI (Steno/Combatant Steno):
- Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 words per minute.

ForHC(Min/Combatant Ministerial/Havildar Clerk):
- Transcription time: 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on a computer.
- English Typing: Minimum speed of 35 words per minute on a computer.
- Hindi Typing: Minimum speed of 30 words per minute on a computer.

(Note: 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi correspond to 10,500 key depressions per hour in English and 9,000 key depressions per hour in Hindi, with an average of 5 key depressions per word on a computer. The time allowed is 10 minutes.)

Documents Verification :
Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification from the pool of those who qualify in PST, PET, CBT, and the Skill Test.

• Required Documents :
    - Candidates are advised to carry original documents along with self-attested photocopies when reporting to the Recruitment Centres.
    - The documents listed below will be physically verified during Document Verification.

• Departmental Candidates:
    - Must produce a 'No Objection Certificate' and a 'Disciplinary/Vigilance Clearance Certificate' issued by the concerned competent authority before the Recruitment Board.

• Additional Requirements:
    - Candidates must bring three recent passport-size color photographs and one original valid Photo ID Proof. Acceptable Photo ID Proofs include:
        - Aadhaar Card/Printout of E-Aadhaar
        - Voter's ID Card
        - PAN Card
        - Passport
        - Driving License
        - Government College/School ID Card
        - Employer ID (Govt./PSU)
        - Any other photo-bearing ID card issued by the Central/State Government

• Documents to Submit :
    - Matriculation/Secondary Certificate
    - Intermediate/10+2 Certificate
    - Order/letter regarding equivalent educational qualifications claimed, indicating the authority (with number and date) under which it has been treated as such, if applicable.
    - Caste/Category Certificate, if applicable, in the format prescribed at Annexures IV, V, and VII of the Notice for candidates seeking reservation/age relaxation.
For Ex-Servicemen (ESM):
1. Undertaking as per Annexure-III.
2. Serving Defence Personnel Certificate as per Annexure-II, if applicable.
3. Discharge Certificate, if discharged from the Armed Forces.
4. Relevant Certificate, if seeking any age relaxation.
5. No Objection Certificate, if already employed in the government.

For Candidates Claiming a Name Change After Matriculation, Marriage, Remarriage, or Divorce:

For Marriage of Women:
   - Photocopy of Husband's passport showing names of spouses, or
   - An attested copy of the marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriage, or
   - An affidavit from the husband and wife, along with a joint photograph duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner.

For Re-marriage of Women:
   - Divorce Deed/Death Certificate of the first spouse, as applicable, and
   - Photocopy of present husband's passport showing names of spouses, or
   - An attested copy of the marriage certificate issued by the Registrar of Marriage, or
   - An affidavit from the husband and wife, along with a joint photograph duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner.

For Divorce of Women:
   - Certified copy of the Divorce Decree, and
   - Deed Poll/Affidavit duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner.

For Other Circumstances of Name Change (Both Male and Female):
   - Deed Poll/Affidavit duly sworn before the Oath Commissioner, and
   - Original paper cuttings from two leading daily newspapers (one must be from the area of the applicant's permanent or present address or nearby area), and
   - Gazette Notification.

- Any other document specified in the Admit Card for Document Verification (DV) must also be provided.
- If the claims made in the application regarding EWS/Caste/Category are not substantiated by the required certificates/documents at the time of verification or at any stage, the candidate's application will be cancelled.
