Recruitment for Legal Assistant (Contractual Basis) at the High Court of Gujarat

The High Court of Gujarat is accepting online applications for 32Legal Assistant positions. These roles are on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, with the possibility of an extension for another 11 months, subject to approval.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
1. Age Limit:
- Candidates must be 26 years old or younger as of July 19, 2024.
2. Educational Qualifications:
- Fresh law graduates with at least 55% marks (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Final-year law students can also apply, but they must pass their final exams with the required marks before being appointed.
FEE AND MOD OF PAYMENT:
1. Fee: ₹500 + bank charges.
2. Payment Methods: Online via HC-OJAS Portal or Offline via Cash-Challan.
3. Online Payment: Use SBI e-Pay and save the e-Receipt.
4. Offline Payment: Print the Challan, pay at SBI before expiry, and keep the receipt.
5. Payment Period: Online from July 5 to July 19, 2024. Offline until Challan expiry.
6. No Refunds: Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
7. Valid Application: Only after fee payment through SBI e-Pay.
Note : Fees paid by any other mode, will NOT be accepted.

B. Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview)

Eligibility:
- Minimum 50% marks required in the Viva-voce Test to be included in the Select List.
Selection of Candidates
- Basis: Aggregate marks from Written Test and Viva-voce Test.
- Weightage: 60% marks from Written Test + marks from Viva-voce Test.
