SSC Constable GD Recruitment Examinations 2025 Apply online

Important dates and information regarding the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination-2025
1. Online Application Submission:  
   - Start Date: 05.09.2024  
   - End Date: 14.10.2024 (until 23:00)

2. Last Date for Online Fee Payment:  
   - 15.10.2024 (until 23:00)

3. Window for Application Form Correction:  
   - Dates: 05.11.2024 to 07.11.2024 (until 23:00)

4.Tentative Schedule for Computer-Based Examination (CBE):  
   - January to February 2025

5. Key Details:  
   - The examination is being conducted as per the recruitment scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
   - The recruitment will be for various posts including Constable (GD) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR), and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

The recruitment process includes the following stages:
     - Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
     - Physical Standard Test (PST)
     - Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
     - Medical Examination
     - Document Verification
     
Age Limit: 
- Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years of age as of 01-01-2025.

- This means candidates should have been born not before 02-01-2002 and not later than 01-01-2007.

Age Limit Relaxations:
- SC/ST: 5 years beyond the upper age limit.
- OBC: 3 years beyond the upper age limit.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as of the date of reckoning.
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (Unreserved/EWS): 5 years.
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (OBC): 8 years.
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (SC/ST): 10 years.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01-01-2025):
The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e., 01-01-2025.

Note : Incentives for NCC Certificate Holders will be granted according to the following scale:

- NCC 'C' Certificate: 5% of the maximum marks of the examination.

- NCC 'B' Certificate: 3% of the maximum marks of the examination.

- NCC 'A' Certificate: 2% of the maximum marks of the examination.

These incentives provide additional bonus marks to candidates holding respective NCC certificates during the examination evaluation process.

Exam Pattern:
- Type: Objective
- Total Questions: 80
- Marks per Question: 2
- Total Marks: 160
- Duration: 60 minutes

Syllabus Breakdown:
- Part-A: General Intelligence and Reasoning (20 Qs, 40 Marks)
- Part-B: General Knowledge and General Awareness (20 Qs, 40 Marks)
- Part-C: Elementary Mathematics (20 Qs, 40 Marks)
- Part-D: English/Hindi (20 Qs, 40 Marks)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Candidates must complete the race within the following time limits:

- For Male Candidates:
  - 5 Kms in 24 minutes

- For Female Candidates:
  - 1.6 Kms in 8.5 minutes

- For Candidates of Ladakh Region:
  - 1.6 Kms in 7 minutes (Male)
  - 800 meters in 5 minutes (Female)
